You've got a number of footprints you'd rather not see,
a number of places you'd rather not be,
and something's got you down.
You've taken all the right steps, minus a couple, it seems,
but you can't place your mind on just what it means,
but your head's a ghost town.
Just remember, you are them, and they are you.
You bring to life your thoughts,
so to yourself be true.
We can overcome this mess when we are young.
Though we disagree, we can't forget to love.
You can wear a nice mask for all the public to see,
but if you wear it too long, you might never come clean.
Can you feel the warmth now?
Just keep asking yourself,
"What thoughts should my mind feed?"
A productive dialogue, a few good deeds!
But this ain't your hometown.
